1. Who we are
Xurshid SHARE is developed and published by Xurshidjon Yunusov (the “developer”, “we”). Contact: yxurshidjon@gmail.com, website www.xurshid.com.
2. What the app does
Xurshid SHARE transfers files, folders, text, contacts (as vCard) and installed apps (APK) between devices on the same local network — Wi-Fi, a mobile hotspot or Wi-Fi Direct. Every transfer is a direct device-to-device connection initiated by you. The developer operates no server that takes part in a transfer.
3. Data we collect
None. The app does not collect, transmit or store any personal data outside your device. Specifically, we do not collect: names, e-mail addresses, phone numbers, location, device identifiers, advertising IDs, usage statistics, crash reports or the contents of the files you send.
4. Data that stays on your device
To work, the app keeps the following information only on your device, in the app’s private storage. It never leaves the device unless you send it to another device yourself.
- Settings — device name shown to other devices, language, theme, receive folder, auto-accept preference, TCP port.
- Device identity — a random identifier generated on first launch so that other devices can recognise this one. It is not linked to you or to any account.
- Transfer history — file names, sizes, dates, transfer status and the name of the other device. You can delete single entries or clear the whole history at any time.
- Trusted devices (Windows) — identifiers of devices you chose to accept automatically. You can remove them in Settings.
- Received files — saved to the folder you chose (by default Downloads → Xurshid SHARE). They are ordinary files under your control.
Uninstalling the app removes settings, identity and history. Received files remain in your Downloads folder until you delete them.
5. What is sent to other devices
When you start a transfer, the following is sent directly to the device you selected, and only to it: your chosen device name, the app version, the files (or text, contacts, APKs) you selected, their names, sizes, types and SHA-256 checksums. Devices on the same network can also see your device name and platform while the Receive screen is open, so that they can find you. Nothing is sent to the developer or to any third party.
6. Permissions and why they are used

7. Security
Every connection is confirmed with a temporary session token, and every file is verified with a SHA-256 checksum. You can turn off automatic acceptance so that each incoming transfer requires your confirmation. Transfers are limited to your local network; the app opens no connections to external servers. Please note that anyone on the same local network could see your device name while the Receive screen is open — use a network you trust.
8. Third parties
The app contains no third-party analytics, advertising or tracking SDKs and shares no data with third parties. When you open or share a received file with another app, that app’s own privacy policy applies.
9. Children
The app is suitable for all ages and does not knowingly collect any information from anyone, including children under 13.
10. Your rights
Because we hold no personal data about you, there is nothing for us to access, correct or delete on our side. All data described in section 4 is on your device and under your control; you can delete it inside the app or by uninstalling it.
11. Changes to this policy
If the app ever changes in a way that affects this policy, we will update this page and the effective date above. Continued use of the app after a change means you accept the updated policy.
